What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Corelleaf Design Studio?
Description:
This will be a combination of material handling (10%) and assembly (90%)
Description of Material Handling duties:
Ensure movement and/or packaging of materials within the facility.
Records/scans/keys work orders to ensure that materials can be properly tracked during the production process.
May perform additional production/warehousing duties as assigned.
Requires some problem recognition and solution selection among predetermined alternatives
Description of Assembly duties:
Assemble small component parts or sub-assemblies using basic tools such as screwdrivers, clamps, exacto-knives, allen wrenches, tweezers, wire cutters or cotton swabs.
You may be expected to work using a microscope or magnifying equipment to perform intricate sub-assemblies.
Must have good manual dexterity and eyesight. Must be able to read, write and use basic math; maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks; work with basic chemicals.
Work well in a fast paced team environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in mechanical assembly and/or material handling including warehouse experience, stock room picking parts, etc.
No Covid-19 vaccination required
Special Equipment Required - Safety Glasses
Note :
Workdays: 1st shift Mon-Friday
7AM-3:30PM OT required based on business needs
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.56 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
