What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Corelleaf Design Studio?
Description:
- Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions
- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
- Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Requires understanding of drawings, standard procurement/purchasing procedures and related Company policies.
- Interfacing with other groups regarding various aspects of the procurement process requires strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field plus up to 2 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
