Facilities Technician
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitor areas for Fire every 15 minutes and recording in log book.
Will required entrance into manufacturing areas where minor gowning is needed
May requires considerable walking depending on size of Fire and Alarm panel coverage area.
Larger areas may requires almost constant monitoring due to size.
Skills and Qualifications:
Requires walking every 15 minutes
May requires stair usage
Ability to write in logbook
Call for help in event of a fire
Education/Skills:
Required High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to stand and walk for minimum of 12 hours
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders without aid
May be assigned to assist facility technician if/when fire watch is not needed. Could include painting, sweeping, sanding, and walking.
Mechanical/Facilities knowledge a plus but not needed.
Notes:
day shift 7a-7:30pm Rotating 2 day on – 2 days off – 3 days on
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
