Description:
Laboratory Technician
Qualifications:
Education: AA, BA, or BS degree in a Science or Engineering field is preferred.
PC skill: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Able to manage multiple duties simultaneously, meeting established deadlines.
Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per shift.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Lab technician in a chemistry lab.
Preparation and evaluation of paint formulations per established methods.
Under the direction of a Scientist, independently execute established tasks to meet deadlines.
Document findings and communicate results using programs such as Word and Excel.
Inspects and performs routine maintenance on lab equipment.
Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals and/or supplies necessary for the completion of experiments.
Notes:
Work hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.80 - $24.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
