This position is primarily responsible for performing metal processing services per customer specifications. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop product knowledge of material in the department
- Locate and pull metal materials
- Stage material for job operations
- Operate industrial shears to process orders with precision, accuracy, and efficiency
- Prepare orders for transport including banding, shrink wrap, skids, etc.
- Restock materials using forklifts and cranes
- Audit processed orders for accuracy
- Identify methods for improved efficiency and safety
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Provide support for the packaging department as needed.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, be attentive, and flexible
- Strong understanding of measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and scales
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 75lbs occasionally
- Ability to maneuver and manipulate materials both manually and with the use of overhead crane by bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner
Preferred Qualifications:

- Aptitude in industrial machinery and equipment
- Forklift experience
