THE INS AND OUT OF THE ROLE
As a full- or part-time Medical Scribe, your day begins by working alongside a primary care provider, documenting patient encounters in Athena with precision. You ensure that orders, procedures, and diagnoses are properly recorded, supporting accurate billing and patient record management. Throughout the day, you problem-solve, anticipate provider needs, and maintain organized, thorough documentation. By the end of your shift, you've helped create a seamless experience for both the provider and patients, ensuring all medical records are complete and up to date.
Work Schedule & Location: This position is based in Waterford, MI, with a flexible schedule based on the provider's hours and vacations. Availability for full-time or part-time may vary depending on the provider's schedule.
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered:
- Experience with Athena
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Knowledge of medical terminology, orders, and diagnoses
- Excellent computer proficiency and typing speed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
