Typical Duties:
- Data Architecture Design:
- Develop logical and physical data models to support ATIS objectives.
- Design data solutions for data warehousing, ETL processes, and real-time analytics
- Integration and Management:
- Oversee data integration between ATIS and other Army systems
- Implement metadata management and data cataloging tools.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data solutions comply with DoD and RMF standards
- Implement encryption, masking, and access controls to secure sensitive data
- Optimization:
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Monitor data pipelines and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in data architecture, integration, and modeling
- AWS Certified Data Analytics or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer
- Master’s degree in a related field
