The Salesforce Technical Architect leads the designs, architectures, and technical oversights of Salesforce solutions across multiple projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, quality assurance engineers, and non-technical business stakeholders, to deliver, maintain, and support cutting-edge Salesforce functionality. The Technical Architect serves as a strategic advisor and ensures solutions are scalable and aligned with CoreSite’s growth strategy.
Leveraging deep expertise with Salesforce.com products, Application Programming Interfaces, Apex / Visualforce, Lightning, and integration / extract, transform and load tools, the Technical Architect creates robust, scalable, long-lasting solutions. The Technical Architect ensures successful project deliveries by crafting clear visions, designing the architectures, providing strategic guidance, and actively supporting teams including taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and oversee Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
- Provide architectural and design leadership across multiple Salesforce projects.
- Lead and facilitate technical and functional workshops, translating business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
- Guide technical design sessions, documenting risks and solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to shape the architectural vision and develop roadmaps for Salesforce adoption.
- Advocate for configuration over custom code while providing hands-on coding expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Lead Salesforce development teams, identifying best practices, driving agile processes, and delivering custom development, integrations, and data migration.
- Develop and review comprehensive design specifications, ensuring adherence to design patterns and coding standards.
- Mentor and coach development teams on Salesforce capabilities, new features, and best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor, engaging in conversations with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment.
- Drive and approach efforts to enable Lightning UI, optimize the Salesforce platform, and create scalable solutions that align with growth initiatives.
- Write and review comprehensive functional and technical specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.

Compensation :
Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $130,000 and $180,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
