Coreslab Structures (ARIZ), Inc., a leader in the precast construction industry, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with heavy equipment is required and familiarity with hydraulics is preferred but not required.
A Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- will perform a full range of maintenance, repair, and service activities on heavy, diesel-powered equipment. Candidates should be knowledgeable of tools, equipment, parts, and procedures and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have own tools
Essential Functions of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Performing preventative maintenance and daily checks for equipment functions and safety
Inspect, diagnose and perform repairs and service to heavy diesel-powered equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and shop area
Maintain tools and parts inventory
Requirements
Minimum two (2) years experience
Equivalent (of two years) combination of education, training, and / or work experience will be considered
Organization and prioritization of workload
Ability to read and understand repair manuals
Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction
Work well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift, walk, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, and climb
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
Must submit to pre-employment drug screen according to company policy
