Chief Software Architect - USA

Job Overview: We are seeking a visionary Chief Software Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of our AI Driven Cloud Governance Platform. This is a high-impact role where you will define the technical strategy, architecture, database design and implementation for an innovative platform designed to streamline and automate FinOps, SecOps, CloudOps, and assessment capabilities. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and leadership teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cutting-edge solutions that meet the demands of distributors, enterprises, and managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership:

• Define and own the technical architecture for the Cloud Governance Platform, ensuring scalability, high availability, security, and performance.
• Set technical standards, best practices, and development methodologies for the engineering team.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and governance to maintain a competitive edge.

2. Architecture Design:

• Design a modular, API-first platform architecture that enables seamless integrations with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI etc.).
• Drive decisions on microservices architecture, cloud-native design, and DevOps pipelines.
• Architect robust data processing and analytics pipelines to support real-time insights and reporting.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Partner with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and compliance teams to ensure platform reliability and adherence to industry standards.
• Act as a key technical advisor to the executive team, providing updates on technical risks and opportunities.

4. Team Development:

• Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Participate in hiring to build a world-class engineering team.

5. Platform Evolution:

• Spearhead migration strategies for legacy systems to modern cloud environments.
• Continuously evaluate platform performance and scalability, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Lead initiatives in AI/ML to bring intelligent automation to governance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 15 years of software engineering and architecture experience, including 5 years in cloud computing and SaaS platforms.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Technical Mastery: Proficient in designing and building scalable architectures with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Programming Skills: Strong background in languages such as Python, Angular
• Data Architecture: Experience with data systems, real-time processing, and database technologies such as MongoDB and MSSQL.
• DevOps and Security: Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and cloud security frameworks.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and manage cross- functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with FinOps, SecOps, or CloudOps tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration for predictive analytics and automation in cloud governance.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Industry certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
