Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Details:
- Pay Rate:$20 per hour
- Full Time/Contract: Full Time/Contract - 3 months
- Location: Onsite in South Carolina
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: 2 years in Accounts Receivables Analyst
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Accounts Receivable Cash Application Software (US and Canadian receipts)
- Ability to resolve discrepancies, including missing remittance advice and unmatched remittances
- Strong attention to detail for templating remittances to ensure automation
- Skilled in reviewing and recording cash remittances, identifying root causes of issues
- Experience with Oracle Accounts Receivable for maintenance functions (bank fees, chargebacks, adjustments)
- Ability to assist AR Analysts with investigating and resolving customer payment disputes
- Strong research and reconciliation skills for unapplied cash payments
- Competence in reporting daily metrics and providing relevant reports to teams
- Experience with daily bank reconciliations and monthly close tasks
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable systems and processes
Responsibilities:
- Process and apply cash receipts for US and Canadian Receipts using current Accounts Receivable Cash Application Software
- Resolve discrepancies with department personnel, division, and/or customers
- Template remittances accurately and efficiently for future automation
- Review and record cash remittances not auto applied by software to find the root cause of the issue
- Perform maintenance functions within Oracle Accounts Receivable application for timely and accurate customer account maintenance
- Assist AR Analysts with investigation and resolution of customer payment disputes and issues
- Research and reconcile unapplied cash payments
- Report daily metrics and provide reports to other teams
- Assist with daily bank reconciliations and monthly close tasks
- Maintain high knowledge of Accounts Receivable system and process, applying it effectively in department responsibilities
