Position Overview
The ServiceNow Technical Architect is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. This position requires an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, architecture, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Create comprehensive ServiceNow solutions that address specific business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Implementation: Lead and execute the implementation of ServiceNow modules, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), Security Operations (SecOps), and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance ServiceNow applications to maximize efficiency, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of architectural designs, configurations, and processes to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for users and administrators to ensure effective utilization of ServiceNow capabilities.
- Compliance: Ensure all ServiceNow implementations comply with relevant standards, regulations, and security policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge and practical experience with ServiceNow architecture, modules, and capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, and HRSD.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and devise effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
- Certification: ServiceNow Technical Architect certification or equivalent experience highly preferred.
- Experience: With total IT experience more than 10 years, candidate should have minimum of 5 years of experience exclusively in ServiceNow design and implementation, with hands-on experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, and HRSD modules.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
