About the Opportunity
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our behavioral health team in St. Joseph, MI.
This 26-bed inpatient unit provides psychiatric and substance abuse disorder care to patients with depression, anxiety, and other mental health-related issues. As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of a Nurse Leader.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care using the nursing process.
- Partner with patients and families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and education.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months.
- Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care preferred.
