About the Unit
The Medical Oncology unit at Corewell Health is an inpatient 30-bed unit with the capability to expand to 36 beds. We specialize in the treatment of patients with hematological and oncological illnesses, offering a unique learning opportunity for nurses to work with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, end-of-life care, and bedside procedures.
- Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
- Utilize patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
