About Lakeland Hospitals
The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Scope of work
Responsible for inspecting, disinfecting, assembling, processing and distributing patient care instruments, equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies, procedures and Association of Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards. Acts as a role model and resource to peers and other members of the health care team related to processing of equipment, instruments, and supplies. Stores, rotates and ensures all instruments and supplies are correctly labeled.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- CRT-Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT) - CBSPD Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution 1 1/2 Yrs required Or
- CRT-Registered Central Services Technician, Certified (CRCST) - IAHCSMM International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management 1 1/2 Yrs required
