Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and empowering them to manage their mental health.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred within 5 years.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care preferred.
