Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a critical care professional, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic respiratory services and non-invasive monitoring including pulse oximetry, arterial blood gas procurement, capnography, pulmonary function testing, apnea screening, bronchoscopy assistance, and EKG procurement.
- Assess patients and recommend patient care plans per established protocols.
- Document patient information, provide chart review, and educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status.
- State of Michigan license as LIC-Respiratory Therapist upon hire.
- National Board for Respiratory Care certification as CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry upon hire.
- American Heart Association certification as CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire or American Red Cross certification as CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
