Job Summary
The Nurse Educator Emergency Services will play a critical role in shaping the future of nursing and healthcare at Corewell Health. Responsibilities
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and manage competency programs to address skill gaps and ensure employees have the necessary training to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to identify areas for improvement and develop educational initiatives to address these gaps.
- Promote interprofessional learning and collaboration to enhance practice outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or Master's degree in Nursing Education or Adult Education.
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience related to the area of focus.
- Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred certifications include Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Oncology Nursing Society certification.
