About the Position: The Healthcare Imaging Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. This role requires strong technical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our diagnostic imaging team.
Responsibilities:
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Graduate degree from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images
- Communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient exams
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results
