About our Team
The Trauma Injury Prevention Professional is responsible for collaborating with the Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator for planning, implementation, coordination, and documentation of community-based injury prevention activities as it pertains to the Level 1 Trauma Verification defined by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
The essential functions of this position are to ensure timely and effective delivery of health and wellness programs and services through the personal delivery and/or coordination of such services. Job duties include, but are not limited to, development and delivery of health/wellness presentations, which may include employer group data participation tracking, wellness program implementation, program education and messaging, health screening team coverage and onsite leadership of wellness ambassadors.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Associate's Degree health related field
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred
