About Lakeland Hospitals 

The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.  

Scope of work 

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed. Performs evaluation procedures to assess the level of disability with regard to scope of practice, goals and a plan of treatment, and to make appropriate recommendations. Provides a treatment program and education to restore and return maximal function to the patientAssesses effectiveness of treatment and modifies goals/treatment methods, as needed to meet changing needs. 

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
  • Preferred Master's Degree Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
  • Preferred Doctorate Graduate of accredited speech therapy program
  • 2 years of relevant experience of related experience Required
  • CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association 1 Year required
  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines
    Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
