- Maintain and monitor electronic health records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Collect and monitor patient data, reporting needs as directed.
- Document care consistent with documentation guidelines and standards.
- Engage in process and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
- 1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (e.g., AAMA, AMT, NHA) within 120 days of hire.
- BLS Certification within 120 days of hire.
