Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate efficient patient flow, preparing patients for visits or admissions, and providing necessary services and education as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including electronic health records.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized work environment, equipment, and communicate any issues to relevant personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Collect and monitor patient data, reporting as directed.
- Document care consistent with guidelines and standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) certification within 120 days required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 120 days required.
