**Job Summary**

About the Unit
A Float position gives you the opportunity to cross train to Med Surg, ICU, Emergency Departments, and OB. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
- Demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Uphold the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
