About the Role:
We are seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at Watervliet Hospital. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, such as CVA, SCI, and TBI. This role requires strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills, as well as effective communication and collaboration with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse on our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, you will be responsible for:
Providing direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Educating patients and families about their conditions and treatment options
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and care provided
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid RN license in the state of Michigan or eligibility for licensure
Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire date
At least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role, with successful completion of NCLEX licensure examination
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
