Job Summary: As a Respiratory Therapist with us, you'll collaborate with a skilled clinical team to diagnose, monitor, and treat respiratory conditions in patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' respiratory care needs and make recommendations accordingly.
- Assess treatment effectiveness and document results according to departmental standards.
- Perform point-of-care testing as required.
- Conduct advanced evaluations, management, and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for patients to appropriate referral services or the next stage of care.
- Instruct and train other staff members on patient needs and respiratory care services.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent).
- 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, or sleep medicine (or equivalent clinical education).
- LIC-Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan.
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification from the American Heart Association.
