The patient population includes colorectal and bariatric surgical patients, as well as those with bowel obstruction, kidney failure, cellulitis, and falls. Scope of work
Nurses in this role will deliver care responsibly and accountably, adhering to professional standards described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Michigan state laws. They will demonstrate competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, they will uphold standards of professional performance, encompassing ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
