About the Hospice Unit
Corewell Health Hospice South serves approximately 300 patients within their homes across Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties. We specialize in providing symptom management and end-of-life care to those with a terminal diagnosis and a life expectancy of 6 months or less alongside an interdisciplinary team.
Hospice provides care within homes, facilities, and the hospital. Team members express strong job satisfaction due to the rewarding nature of the job as well as the flexibility that comes with caring for patients within their homes.
About Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals
The health system comprises three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations.
We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Scope of Work
The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the strategies and services required to meet the patients/family's end-of-life care needs.
An outcome-based plan of care is created and continually adjusted through utilization of the nursing process, relationship-centered care principles, and holistic philosophy.
This ensures that the changing needs of the patient/family are met while facilitating a pain-free, peaceful, sacred death.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) Required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Preferred.
- 1 year of relevant clinical experience Required.
- Hospice experience Preferred.
- MI RN License Required.
- MI Driver's License Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Nursing - Hospice South Haven
Full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends.
