Job Description
This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with 5 years of experience
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 90 days of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years of hire
