Job Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, while adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and outcomes
- Document patient education and learning in the health record
Qualifications and Benefits
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
- NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days
