Scope of Work
- The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients under the direction of the Nurse Leader.
- The RN will provide quality patient care according to Corewell Health policies and procedures, recognizing the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.
- The RN will partner with patients and families to develop plans of care, educate patients on self-care, and document education and learning appropriately.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire date
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role
- MICertified Nurse (RN)
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
