Job Summary
This full-time Radiology Technologist position offers a competitive pay rate and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The successful candidate will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, following Corewell Health's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire an accurate patient history and document it in the medical record.
- Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers.
- Demonstrate ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
Requirements
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from The American Heart Association and/or The American Red Cross at hire.
- Able to stand, walk, and perform simple manipulative skills, such as writing, constantly.
- Able to see objects far away, like driving, and close objects, like computer screens, constantly.
- Able to hear normal sounds with some background noise and distinguish sound, like equipment alarms, constantly.
