Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, which opened in 1955, has evolved into a comprehensive 1,101-bed academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Position Overview
As an Ultrasonographer at Corewell Health, you will play a crucial role in patient care by performing accurate and efficient ultrasound examinations. Under the direction of site leadership, utilize advanced imaging equipment, apply your clinical skills, and employ independent judgment to produce high-quality images for interpretation. You will embody our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Experience at the student level is acceptable.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry-eligible; trainees will receive support for up to one year.
- Unregistered candidates must obtain at least one registry certification (ABD or OB / GYN) within one year from hire and obtain additional certifications within two years.
- If registered at hire, additional registry certifications must be completed within one year.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required at hire.
