IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Willing to learn and excited by problem solving
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Higher Education in Computer Science or Business Management a plus.
- Strong knowledge of computerized systems including and not limited to:
o MRP/ERP
o Microsoft Office Suite
o Microsoft Excel competency is a must have
- Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
Working from our Greentown PA facility, the chosen Production Planner/Coordinator will review and manage the production schedule and assign work to production floor workers to achieve quality and product output objectives.
- Work with inventory team in evaluating materials equipment availability to ensure the work is completed correctly and on-time.
- Report on the status of the Production schedule to management.
- Work with the production team to derive solutions that help avoid production disruptions and productivity problems
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improved productivity/efficiency.
- Coordinate purchasing of required materials to meet the production schedule.
- Notify Sales and Customer Service of schedule impacts to on-time deliveries.
- Perform other duties as needed to support this position. exercise judgement within defined processes to determine appropriate action.
