Sandwich Maker/Barista/Bagel Maker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker, Barista and Bagel maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and have great customer service

Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Assist in menu planning by contributing creative ideas for new sandwich offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Utilize kitchen tools, including knives, efficiently and safely during food preparation.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.
• Greet customers with a smile, take orders, demonstrate working knowledge of drip coffee, espresso and cold brew machines.
• Daily cleaning and restocking of product up to 20 pounds.
• Follow company standards and maintain work area in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to company standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial.
• A background in fine dining or the food industry can enhance your application.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and cooking methods will be highly valued.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
