What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper/Receiver position at Corfin Industries, LLC?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Verifies incoming shipments (Part Numbers & Quantities) against packing slip
- Scans incoming packing slips for all component parts to the contracts team
- Perform WIP Completion transactions in ERP system to prepare jobs for shipment
- Prepare outgoing shipments
- Ensure items are properly packaged to prevent damage
- Affix shipping labels to outside of containers
- Record weights and dimensions on traveler
- Maintains an accurate inventory record in ERP system
- Perform PO receipts
- Perform Inventory Adjustments
- Kit Production Jobs, ensuring parts and quantities match the job traveler, and deliver to Pre Inspection
- Store and organize consumable inventory
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate material requisitions for consumable inventory
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
- Shipping/Receiving Experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
