Summary
We are seeking highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced investment professionals to join our team. These positions will initially be reporting to a Partner on the Portfolio Management team, or another team member to be determined. The ideal candidates will have broad knowledge of investments and experience in the areas of trading operations and / or portfolio management. The Analyst, Corient Investments candidates will work closely with Wealth Advisors, the Investment Team, and operations staff in a team-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop of deep understanding of Corient's equity strategies through frequent interactions with the central investment team
- Become an expert in local Portfolio Management / Order Management systems
- Work with local advisors to understand clients' objectives, risk tolerance, and existing equity portfolios to map them to Corient strategies
- Suggest trades to advisors that are consistent with moving to the mapped strategy, staying within capital gain budgets. Enter these orders into the local Order Management System for execution by the trading team
- Review portfolios and build orders when strategy trades are suggested by the Investment Team
- Contribute to optimal portfolio allocation across equities, fixed income, and alternatives, ensuring alignment with clients' overall investment objectives
- Rebalance portfolios, manage for cash / liquidity needs, and harvest losses in taxable accounts
- Assist in transition of legacy systems to new centralized portfolio management / trading solution
