Overview
The Sr. Client Service Specialist (Sr. CSS) supports the Client Teams by providing administrative, financial, and organizational services.
Responsibilities
- The Sr. CSS is responsible for completing custodian paperwork to establish accounts for individuals, trusts or entities, transfer funds via check requests, wires, SLOAs, or Money Links, update account names or addresses, initiate managed accounts, establish margin accounts, update beneficiaries, request IRA distributions, transfer assets in via ACAT, or edit cost basis information. The Sr. CSS prepares the above forms, as appropriate, and ensures accurate completion of the tasks through diligent follow-through and communication with both the team and the custodian.
- The Sr. CSS is also responsible for preparing manager paperwork for any managed accounts and communicating to ensure accurate and timely completion. The Sr. CSS assists in the subscription document preparation and information-gathering process as directed by the Investment Analysts.
- The Sr. CSS prepares customized cash flow, recordkeeping, and other specialized financial reports for clients upon request. During tax season, the Sr. CSS is responsible for gathering and tracking tax information for assigned clients. On a periodic basis, this information is transferred to the CPAs.
- In preparation for and following quarterly meetings, the Sr. CSS may prepare agendas, print and organize deliverables, update task lists, scan notes and documents to the client’s folder, participate in team meetings, and execute on any assigned tasks.
- This is a utility player position that provides all types of support for the various client teams and general support for the office such as providing backup on the phones, copying and/or scanning documents, and completing special projects.
- The Sr. CSS may be responsible for bill pay and accounting services for some select clients. This will include preparing bills for review, coding and entering into QuickBooks, reconciling accounts a month end, entering journal entries, and preparing reports for the Advisor to present to the client.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of four years of experience at an RIA or similar financial services company
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a high level of competency in Excel
- Complete integrity with an uncompromised reputation
- Ability to maintain total confidentiality
- An excellent team player who enjoys collaboration but also works well individually
- Strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to remain detail-oriented while multi-tasking and working at a fast pace
- Ability to take ownership of projects and carry them through to completion
- Travel is not required.

Pay Information
This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of Washington. The pay range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
