About The Role
The Associate Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects across Corient's real estate portfolio. This includes minor renovations and new construction initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction principles and project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of NY. The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, plus bonus. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

About The Role
The Associate Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects across Corient's real estate portfolio. This includes minor renovations and new construction initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction principles and project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Projects & Design Lead in all phases of the construction project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Oversee design and construction of projects across the US with a 2025 budget of approximately $50 MM
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other key project documents.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control.
- Prepare progress reports to management and assist with all construction-related communications
- Assist in the procurement of construction materials and services.
- Manage change orders and resolve construction-related disputes.
- Ensure vendor contracts are compliant with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project risk management plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction project management processes, KPIs, SLAs, financial reporting, and best practices.
- Assist with the maintenance of Corient design standards.
- Expect to travel 25% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.
- Experience with establishing and managing complex real estate budgets for a wide range of projects ($10k-$25M )
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and legal documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
