Summary
This position will play a vital role in supporting Wealth Advisors (WAs) by providing administrative, financial, technical, and organizational services.
Responsibilities
• Executing and monitoring client portfolio investment activities
• Providing research and data gathering for team effort to produce and deliver comprehensive financial plans for financial management clients
• Financial planning assistance including the ability to generate and update client data as events occur for clients, budgeting, needs, preparation and presentation of client financial plans
• Assisting with the responding to client ad-hoc inquiries
• Assisting with financial reporting and preparation of client deliverables
• Review and follow up on operational items such as wires, journals, opening new accounts, charitable requests and other custodian specific forms
• Review quarterly, monthly and ad-hoc performance reports for accuracy, formatting, and timeliness. Ensure alternative investments are reflected accurately as well
• Monitor asset allocations and making sure they are aligned with client’s investment policy statement and overall goals and objectives
• Working with the team to develop, test and automate improvements to asset allocation and financial planning software
• Providing investment reporting on selected clients
• Delivering and/or supervising ongoing investment monitoring services including annual rebalancing reviews for financial planning clients
• Client meeting prep, presentation and follow up agenda items
• Working with and developing a rapport with client’s third party advisors such as T& E attorneys, CPAs and other investment advisors
What You’ll offer:
• Approximately 3 years related client service experience either at wirehouse, family office or boutique wealth management firm
• Hands-on trade execution experience (ETFs, mutual funds, equity & fixed income securities)
• Understanding of financial markets; ability to speak with clients about macro events and volatility; anticipate client calls and preparedness
• Notable experience interacting with clients, understanding their needs and being proactive with communication
• Financial planning experience working with a variety of clients, preferably in the high net worth market
• Understanding of estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, and other family entity structures
• Strong intrinsic motivation, self-starter with strong analytical skills who will work both independently and as part of a high-touch team
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize client deliverables
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
