Account Manager (Outside Sales) Big Spring, TX

$65-$75K BASE SALARY UP TO $35K IN PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES ANNUAL PROFIT SHARING! Position based out of Midland, Texas.

Corley Oaks is looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our Family of Companies and to cultivate and nurture robust partnerships with our customers, all the while enhancing sales performance in the assigned territory. This is an Outside Sales position. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing territories in Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding areas.

The base annual salary for this position is $65-$75K based on experience, PLUS up to $35K in performance incentives, a Variety of Benefits, AND Opportunity to Participate our Unique and Rewarding Annual Profit Sharing Program!

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Visiting all the stores in the designated area, selling new accounts and identifying new opportunities, and following up with contacts.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction concerning sales of any and all company products and/or services
• Provide a positive and professional image for the company
• Maintain an accurate customer account list and remain in constant contact with established customers
• Maintaining or exceeding assigned sales volume and profit margin and keeping up to date with changes in the industry
• Providing weekly schedules with specific customers visited & turn in weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager
• Develop new sales strategies and promote the sales of Corley Oaks Distribution
• Local/regional travel required

Additional Responsibilities:

• Showroom Support: Assist with showroom sales daily during the lunch hour, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Office Presence: Be available in the office for one full day each week to collaborate with the team, update records, and plan sales strategies.

Qualifications and skills:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma required, college degree in Business with a Major in Sales or Marketing preferred (other college degrees accepted if approved by management)
• Valid Texas driver’s license required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience preferred
• Experience in the janitorial/paper industry preferred
• Ability to understand the needs of business accounts through conversational interaction and converting those needs into sales required
• Ability to do routine business math calculations including computation of sales costs with comparison with other vendors of janitorial supplies
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written required
• Maintains a well-groomed appearance as appropriate for the position
