Corley Plumbing, Air, & Electric is seeking a motivated and results-driven In-Home Generator Sales/Energy Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving sales and providing our customers with reliable solutions for their power needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting with homeowners to assess their generator needs, presenting our product offerings, and closing sales to enhance their energy security. The best part is that there is NO COLD CALLING! You will have pre-qualified leads set for you by our retail lead generators.

We offer a very attractive compensation plan with the ability to earn more than $100,000. Schedule: Monday -Friday (including a few evenings a week 5p-7p call) and rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate generator solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Present detailed product information, pricing, and financing options to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, industry trends, competitor products, and best practices to effectively position our offerings.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Attend company department meetings, vendor training, and company training as required.
  • Sales calls are recorded & transcribed for training purposes (Rilla).
  • Ability and willingness to work after hours on a limited basis, if necessary, to accommodate prospective buyers and handle heavy work load during busy season.
  • Properly size the generator to the customer's needs and offer multiple options to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Experience in residential sales, preferably in HVAC or generators.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications, building code compliance, and convey them to customers in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Prior use of ServiceTitan is not a requirement, however, it is required in day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to climb into attics and crawl under houses (crawlspaces/basements).
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Ability to use an extension ladder.
  • Ability to maintain a 40% close rate at a minimum 45% gross margin.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Always exhibit professional conduct, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of in-home sales experience
  • Stable job history
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to pass a Criminal background check and drug test, possess a clean driving record and current driver's license
  • Have a high level of mental and physical aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
