We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing front-line technical support to employees while assisting in the administration and upkeep of CMG’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and user workstations.
You will play a key role in helping ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to longer-term improvements in system reliability, security, and user experience.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issue.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring servers, workstations, and cloud-based systems.
- Support user account management and implement routine software updates and system configurations.
- Perform regular data backups and help ensure systems are patched and secure.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT hardware including printers, conference room tech, and security systems.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors for system troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Document IT procedures, maintain asset inventories, and track support requests.
- Stay informed on system updates and suggest improvements to enhance IT services.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions.
- Basic understanding of network troubleshooting, computer hardware, and common enterprise software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and stay current with evolving technology.
Work Environment
- Office-based with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Occasional travel to other local sites may be required.
