The Davis Community requires that all current and new employees, including contract staff, receive an annual influenza vaccination and TB skin test unless a reasonable or disability accommodation is granted.
The Maintenance Technician II assists in maintaining the facility and grounds in a safe and comfortable manner. This includes installing, maintaining and improving facility equipment and structures.
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES :
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND WORKING CONDITIONS :
Requirements :
Education : Technical or Trade School Certification preferred.
Licensure / Certification : Driver’s License Class C with Passenger Endorsement (or the ability to obtain) preferred. Certified Pool Tech or the ability to obtain.
Experience : At least 2 years of related experience in maintenance. Working knowledge of OSHA, Life Safety, State and Federal codes pertaining to healthcare facilities. Hands on experience in repairing structures and equipment associated with healthcare facilities.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
