We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to drive strategic partnerships with enterprise storage vendors and solution providers in the AI and high performance computing market. This role requires a unique combination of storage industry expertise, networking technology understanding, and strategic selling skills. The successful candidate will secure design wins with major storage partners by articulating how high-performance networking enhances storage solutions. Your ability to bridge storage and networking technologies while navigating partner organizations will be critical to expanding our storage ecosystem presence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership Development

Storage Partnership Strategy:

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies with major storage system vendors
  • Identify opportunities where networking innovation can differentiate storage solutions
  • Create compelling business cases highlighting network-accelerated storage performance
  • Build and maintain executive relationships within storage partner organizations

Value Proposition Development:

  • Craft tailored value propositions demonstrating how advanced networking enhances storage solutions
  • Articulate clear business benefits of validated network-storage combinations
  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies with storage partners
  • Position networking advantages in storage-specific use cases and workloads

Sales Leadership

Design Win Execution:

  • Drive design win campaigns with targeted storage vendors
  • Demonstrate the impact of networking on storage solution performance
  • Develop and execute account strategies for each storage partner
  • Lead partnership negotiations focusing on mutual business value

Pipeline Development:

  • Build and maintain robust pipeline of storage partnership opportunities
  • Identify emerging storage vendors and network-intensive solutions
  • Track and report on storage ecosystem development progress
  • Forecast partnership milestones and deliverables

Cross-functional Leadership

Internal Collaboration:

  • Partner with technical teams on storage-networking integration requirements
  • Work with product management on storage-specific networking features
  • Coordinate with enablement teams on validation and qualification
  • Guide marketing teams on network-accelerated storage messaging

Storage Ecosystem Management:

  • Build and maintain storage ecosystem relationship map
  • Identify and leverage storage partner influence networks
  • Navigate complex storage vendor dynamics
  • Drive advocacy within storage partner organizations

Market Intelligence

Storage Industry Insight:

  • Maintain deep understanding of enterprise storage architectures and networking dependencies
  • Track storage partner business strategies and network infrastructure priorities
  • Identify emerging storage technologies and their networking requirements
  • Provide strategic storage market intelligence to internal teams

Storage Market Analysis:

  • Understand competitive storage-networking partnership landscapes
  • Track integration status across storage ecosystem
  • Identify partnership opportunities with emerging storage providers
  • Develop competitive differentiation strategies for network-intensive storage use cases

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of strategic sales experience in enterprise storage
  • Proven track record of securing storage vendor partnerships
  • Strong understanding of storage networking architectures and protocols
  • Deep knowledge of how networking impacts storage solution performance
  • Experience navigating storage vendor organizations
  • Excellence in executive-level relationship building
  • Track record of complex storage solution deals
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to storage OEMs and solution providers
  • History of successful storage partnership development
  • Deep understanding of network-attached and fabric-attached storage
  • Experience with software-defined storage and networking solutions
  • Track record of influence without authority
  • MBA or technical advanced degree

 

Location: This role fully supports remote work for employees residing within the United States, with the flexibility to travel to our Chesterbrook Corporate Center located in Wayne, PA occasionally for in-person collaboration.

At Cornelis Networks your base salary is only one component of your comprehensive total rewards package. Your base pay will be determined by factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position. Depending on your role, you may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, including an annual bonus or sales incentives. 

 

In addition to your base pay, you’ll have access to a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as disability and life insurance, a dependent care flexible spending account, accidental injury insurance, and pet insurance. We also offer generous paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and Open Time Off (OTO) for regular full-time exempt employees. Other paid time off benefits include sick time, bonding leave, and pregnancy disability leave.
