What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4-H Afterschool Program Educator position at Cornell Cooperative Extension?
This position serves as an Afterschool Program Educator in support of the 4-H Afterschool Program. The educator provides comprehensive 4-H youth development opportunities for grades K-12.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver established 4-H programming, including science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) education.
- Assist in creating lesson plans and teaching innovative educational programs.
- Provide staffing and/or programming coverage for other Cornell Cooperative Extension After-School Programs.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or equivalent education.
- Relevant experience.
- Valid NYS Drivers License and ability to meet travel requirements.
- Ability to meet School Age Child Care (SACC) and Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) licensing requirements.
