Key Responsibilities
- Provide email support for technical customer inquiries relating but not limited to:
- Regulatory questions
- Product disposal
- Business ethics
- Be able to direct customers to our website, share technical documents, provide product lifecycle status, and know who to ask for help.
- Function as a liaison to suppliers for technical information with an emphasis on proper data storage.
- Function as an internal liaison to help with the efficient flow of information.
- Help build and contribute to technical databases.
- Quotation/pricing responses using standardized pricing routines.
- Stock check routines, determine product availability from current inventory, on order status and/or provide lead times for manufactured product.
- Expedite open customer orders, determine status, and project ship dates, pull in/push out schedules when requested and acceptable to our production facilities.
- Provide technical assistance when a competitor's part number is provided using current cross reference information or the competitor's website.
- Verify customer product rejection/issues relating to Return Material Authorization {RMA) requests.
- Excellent telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Service experience a plus.
- Competent business letter writing and general math skills.
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge.
- Can work well under pressure/deadlines.
- Two-year business degree or equivalent.
- Customer service or inside-sales experience with distributor or OEM component sales.
- Full body movement/good eyesight, hearing, and mental capabilities.
- High level of stress.
