Production Supervisor

Reporting To: Production Manager

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 / year

Description

• Control all delinquencies and scrap in the department.
• Monitor all lines to ensure smooth workflow.
• Control items of P&L such as labor variance, scrap, supplies, manufacturing expenses, etc.
• Expedite any material not in stock through the Purchasing Department
• Work closely with Production Control in scheduling weekly workloads.
• Work with Sales to promise and complete rush orders.
• Work with shop in building new parts or repair existing parts.
• Keep work area clean and neat
• Other duties as assigned
• Daily contact with Plant Manager, Production Manager, Quality Control, Production Control, Sales, Lab, Engineering, Maintenance, and Human Resources

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum of two (2) years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Good attendance record
• High school diploma or GED
• Full body movement/good eyesight, hearing and mental capabilities
• Noisy conditions
• Must be able to withstand eight (8) to ten (10) hours of constant movement.

One element in our total compensation package is pay. The starting pay for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
