What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Operator position at Cornell Forge?
We are currently recruiting for a 3rd shift CNC Mill Operator. No experience required, but any machining or tooling
experience is a plus. Applicants must be organized, self-motivated and able to complete tasks unsupervised. We are
hiring for 3rd shift openings at this time.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Set up and Operate a vertical CNC mill
• Know how to use machinist tools for measuring and indicating work piece
• Possess computer skills in order to transfer program files to the appropriate workstation
• Have mathematical aptitude
• Can read and interpret blue prints
• Able to use various hand tools (grinder, hand stamps, etc.)
• Complete setup sheets and other paperwork as needed
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Perform other tasks as required
Salary: $21.00 - $30.00 hourly, depending on experience
