We are seeking a customer-focused IoT Outside Sales Representative with strong technical expertise in centrifugal pumps and related systems to join our dynamic and growing team. The annual salary ranges from $70,000 - $80,000 (DOE). This is based out of our Clackamas, OR location and requires frequent travel (50-75%).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a customer-focused IoT Outside Sales Representative with strong communication and technical skills to support IoT-related products in the centrifugal pump market. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments, assisting with sales efforts, resolving customer issues, and processing orders and quotes efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and input general sales quotes and sales orders.
- Write and document specific and technical sales quotations, technical sales orders, general sales correspondence, and specific sales correspondence.
- Assist in forecasting sales for key customers and coordinating inventory levels with management and purchasing teams.
- Assist customers with installations and facilitate teaching and training events.
- Interface daily between our Engineering and Sales staff.
- Assist/support customers with technical questions related to software, electrical, and mechanical components within and surrounding our system and products.
- Learn, interpret, and apply technical pump information, including BOM, pump curves, and dimensions.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Engineering, Production, Shipping, and Finance.
- Set up and maintain a new distribution network for product and service offerings in fixed pump installation markets.
- Provide dealer, end user, and sales staff training in product application and maintenance.
- Knowledge of product lines, marketplace, requirements, customer trends, and applicable industry standards.
- Investigate to determine causes of reported field problems with products, including warranty requests. for failed products. Support customers through the return process.
- Respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client incident or critical business needs.
- Frequently travel (50-75%) to meet customers at their location and attend various industry trade shows.
QUALIFICATIONS:

What we’re looking for:
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and software systems, with knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, electric motors, SCADA, or telemetry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with PC and web-based programs.
- Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Direct Experience with pumps and/or pumping applications in fixed installation applications.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience and knowledge of electronics and mechanical equipment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
1–5 years of industry experience in sales, engineering, or customer/technical support, with expertise in telemetry, SCADA, industrial monitoring, pumps, lift stations, wastewater treatment facilities, vertical turbines, submersible pumping units, and subscriptions.
